CRUSADERS BASKETBALL ORGANIZATION

COACHES AGREEMENT & EXPECTATIONS CONTRACT

This Coaches Agreement is entered into between Crusaders Basketball Organization and the undersigned Coach.

The purpose of this Agreement is to establish expectations, responsibilities, standards of conduct, and commitment requirements for all coaches representing Crusaders Basketball Organization.

1. COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Crusaders Basketball Organization is committed to developing athletes both on and off the court through:

• Discipline

• Accountability

• Leadership

• Sportsmanship

• Skill development

• Teamwork

• Faith Over Fear mindset

Coaches are expected to represent the organization in a positive, professional, and respectful manner at all times.

2. COACH RESPONSIBILITIES

The Coach agrees to:

Player Development

• Teach basketball fundamentals and team concepts

• Promote growth, confidence, and leadership

• Provide equal encouragement and constructive coaching

Team Management

• Maintain communication with players and parents

• Arrive prepared and on time for practices and games

• Ensure athletes are supervised appropriately

Conduct & Representation

• Display professionalism, integrity, and sportsmanship

• Respect players, parents, referees, opposing teams, and staff

• Refrain from abusive, inappropriate, or discriminatory behavior

Safety

• Prioritize player safety and well-being

• Report injuries or concerns immediately

• Follow all organizational and facility rules

3. SOCIAL MEDIA & PUBLIC REPRESENTATION

Coaches represent Crusaders Basketball Organization both in person and online.

The Coach agrees to:

• Use appropriate language and conduct on social media

• Avoid negative public comments regarding players, parents, officials, or the organization

• Support and protect the reputation of the organization

4. PLAYER & PARENT RELATIONS

The Coach agrees to:

• Communicate respectfully with families

• Address concerns professionally

• Avoid favoritism or inappropriate behavior

• Maintain a positive and encouraging environment

5. ORGANIZATIONAL EXPECTATIONS

The Coach understands:

• Playing time is not guaranteed

• Team placement decisions are made in the best interest of development and competition

• The organization reserves the right to discipline or remove coaches for violations of this Agreement

6. BACKGROUND & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

The Coach agrees to:

• Complete any required background checks

• Follow child safety guidelines

• Report any inappropriate behavior or concerns immediately

7. VOLUNTEER

This is not a paid position this is volunteer work, and we are thankful you have stepped up to help our organization.

8. TERM OF AGREEMENT

This Agreement remains in effect for the current basketball season unless terminated by either party or revoked by Crusaders Basketball Organization.

9. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By signing below, the Coach acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by the expectations and standards outlined in this Agreement.
